Rainbow Striped Mama Shirt
This shirt is made from a fabric of multicolored stripes- red, purple, brown, orange, yellow, white- of random widths. The bodice is lined, and is 33" all the way around (the bodice stops just above the bust). The middle portion of the shirt is gathered where it connects to the bodice. The middle portion is 46" around (same width at the top w/ the gathers as the bottom) There are 2 fun front pockets- brown with tiny white poka dots- each 6x 6 1/2". At the bottom of the shirt are alternating patches of the striped and the polka dot fabrics. The bottom hem splits on each side for easy movement. The straps are 2 1/2" wide and 13" from front to back. The shirt is 20 1/2" from neck to bottom hem. All seams are topstitched and/or sewn under and/or wrap- around stitched so that there are absolutely no raw edges!

Butterfly Mama shirt
This mama shirt has a closed back with 8 separate pieces of elastic going across to make a comfortable fit. It has 1" wide straps that criss-cross in the back. The bottom part is cut on the bias and A-lined so that it bells out just right. The bodice is made from a black backgrounded fabric with golden and blue and blue- green butterflies in the forefront. It is also darted for a more comfortable fit. The bottom part is made from a white calico with lavender flowers and olive green leaves. It's a cute lil' mis-match and goes really well!! The bodice, bottom part, and straps are all lined with a combination of natural muslin and the white calico. There are 2 front pockets which tilt slightly for your hands to reach in easily. The empire waist is 30" around when elastic is closed, and 32" when open all the way (Bust is about 32" when closed, and 34" when open). Straps run 15" from neckline to back. Bodice is 9" from neckline to empire waist. Bottom part is about 12 1/2" from empire waist to bottom hem. All seams are either topstitched or sewn under where needed. This shirt would probably best fit someone with 34 1/2" bust or smaller. Wash in warm water on gentle cycle if possible and hang to dry.

Chartreuse Linen Peasant Shirt
This shirt is made from a chartreuse linen, and a multicolored striped linen/rayon blend of different shades of beet, carrot, white, natural, and chartreuse. It has a yoke which is made from the multicolored linen/ rayon, and laces up. There are brown wooden beads hanging at the bottom of each lace. The rest of the shirt is made from the chartreuse linen and the sleeves, bottom hem, and front pocket are trimmed with the multicolored linen. The sleeves are raglan style. There are 2" splits on the sides of the shirt for a nice fit. The bust is about 37" around. The sleeves are 12" around, each. The top is 19 1/2" from neckline to bottom hem, and 15 1/2" from armpit to bottom hem. The lace holes are carefully button-hole stitched to keep from fraying, and the yoke at the bottom of lace has been reinforced. The yoke is lined. Neck, sleeve hems, yoke, pocket, and bottom hem have been sewn under so that there is no fraying. All other seams have been topstitched. Wash linen in cold water on gentle cycle or by hand and hang to dry.
(keep in mind that this shirt might be a little brighter in person than it appears on the screen- it is chartreuse after all!!)

I made this tank from patches of several different fabrics: a forest green velvet; a mocha-tan linen; a linen with woven stripes of shades of beet, carrot, white, and natural linen; and a cotton with multicolored stripes and hawkeye patterns of magenta, orange, purple, forest green, golden yellow, and sparkly magenta threads woven throughout it. The patches are placed diagonaly across the shirt which makes it a bias cut, and is also A-line, and hangs over the body elegantly. The 1/2" wide spaghetti straps are made from the forest green velvet and run 13" from front of tank to back. There are 2 strips of elastic running across the back of the tank, from strap to strap, to make this top comfortably fit several sizes. Bust is about 37" with elastic closed all the way, 39 1/2" when open all the way. Top is 18" from neckline dip to bottom hem. It is lined with a thin strip of the green velvet along the edge on the inside at the top, and the bottom hem is whipstitched under. All patches are topstitched, and all elastic is encased in the green velvet trim on the inside of the tank. Because of the cut, this tank would probably comfortly fit people of several different sizes. Because of the varied fabrics, it would be best to wash this top by hand or in cold water on the gentle cycle. **Always turn garments inside out when hanging to dry so the sun doesn't fade them and never use bleach!!**
